Fishing Report Key West: Thankful for Ladyfish Jacks and Spotted Trout

Hey everyone, hope you all had a filling Thanksgiving day. The girls and I had a good time with friends. My Lions put on an exciting game. Too bad they came up short.

Spotted sea trout.

The fishing has been pretty darn good. The last day I was out 11/19/2012 we hammered the trout, ladyfish and jacks. Jim and his son-in law Thomas from Cali. were able to land and release dozens of each fish. Jim also released a juvenile mutton snapper. Nice job for a 4hr. trip. Since then the wind has kicked up a bit. So getting out to play on the water hasn’t been in the forecast. The weather is usually like this, this time of year. We get a cold front which brings the wind for a couple of days. Then the wind lays down. And were able to fish. I’ll try and post some more pics.
